Theme
Data processing and AI for the hygienist.
We live in a world full of data. Computers are indispensable, databases are being built around the world, numbers keep our companies going, Co-pilot and chatGTP answer us within a few minutes after scanning the internet and with a tone of compassion and empathy. The possibilities seem endless. But how does this translate to you as an occupational hygienist? Do you have an idea which projects are being developed to help support you in your daily jobs? Because let’s be fair, data and AI helps us do our job but an interpretation of the expert is still key.

Occupational Risks Datamining project (2022 - 2026)
The aim of the project is :
  • to bring together all the Belgian data about working conditions and occupational risks and digitise them to make them available to as many people as possible: political decision-makers, social partners, experts, etc;
  • to contribute to a better quality of the data collected from these different sources by improving their visibility;
On 15 May 2024, the "risks at work" website was officially launched (https://data.risquesautravail.be). This project is funded by the European Union (RRF) as part of Belgium's National Plan for Recovery and Resilience (PRR).
