9. Generic risk analysis systems

Background
When a lot of dangerous substances are being used on a workplace, it is not easy to make a risk analysis of chemical agents. Anyway, the most risky activities involving hazardoussubstances should be examined first. To clarify this, there are so-called "generic" risk analysis systems. On the basis of the R- or H-phrases, possible physical properties of the substance, or specific details on usage and conditions at the workplace, a rank-order can be obtained, so you can rank in an objective way to find out which substances you should first deal with.
