CONFERENCE SCOPE
The need to reduce the energy demand of buildings is reflected in the legislation and policies of many countries. However, there is increasing concern about their adverse effects on occupant health and comfort in low energy buildings. These issues are being considered by some international energy conservation policy initiatives for buildings that seek to simultaneously reduce energy demand and provide acceptable indoor environment quality.

Malgré le fait que l’utilisation de l’amiante a été interdit fin années 90 en Belgique et dans d’autres pays Européennes, l’amiante reste de nos jours fort présent dans notre environnement, dans des anciens immeubles ou installations et sur les lieux de travail. Surtout lors des travaux ou lors des incidents, d’importantes expositions à l’amiante peuvent avoir lieu et des mesures strictes et des contrôles sont nécessaires pour l’éviter.
