Physical agents

Background
The physical agents which are of importance in occupational hygiene are physical phenomena of which it is known that they can (in)directly cause damage to the human body. In thefollowing sections, specific information can be found regarding indoor climate, noise, (non-)ionizing radiation, vibration and shocks, lighting and thermal stress.
